Pitch your tent just a stone’s throw from the festival!
This year, we’re offering you the chance to pitch your tent at Camping Gaalgebierg and sleep in a quiet, wooded setting just a stone’s throw from the festival!
Each pitch offers an electrical connection as well as free connection to a TV aerial and free Wi-Fi. The campsite has heated sanitary facilities and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. You will also find a small restaurant and a café with a terrace directly on the campsite.
On site, there is a large children’s playground, a beach volleyball court, a beach badminton court and a petanque court. The Escher Déierepark Animal Park is just next door, if you feel like saying hello to some raccoons (and if you’re a pony fan, you’ll find your happiness there too!). If you want to visit the beautiful town of Esch-sur-Alzette while waiting for the concerts to start, you can take advantage of the free shuttle service that goes down to the town center.

Opening hours: Check-in from 12:00 pm and check-out by 10:30 am.
Day tickets are valid on the day of the event from 12:00 pm and until 10:30 am the following day. For example, a “Sunday” camping ticket gives access to the campsite from 12:00 pm on Sunday 06/09/24 to 10:30 am on Monday 10/06/24.
The 3-day camping pass is valid from 12:00 pm on Friday 06/07/24 to 10:30 am on Monday 10/06/24.
Camping tickets and the camping pass must be purchased in addition to a Francofolies Esch/Alzette festival ticket. NB: Being in possession of a festival ticket is not sufficient to access the campsite.
Please note that the road to the campsite will be closed to traffic. You will therefore need to walk there. Vans, campers and other motorized vehicles are prohibited.
ITEMS PROHIBITED AT THE CAMPSITE: Narcotics, hookahs, candles, burners and other gas installations, generators, wrenches, pliers, shovels, sharp objects, knives, fireworks, firecrackers, awnings, gazebos, explosive or flammable liquids. Animals are prohibited with the exception of guide dogs.
Loud music is not permitted: You are in a municipal campsite, please respect the sleep of others. Music is prohibited from 10:00 pm onwards.
