Becoming a volunteer at Francofolies Esch/Alzette means experiencing a unique adventure in an electrifying atmosphere! By joining the team, you’ll get to see the festival from the inside and be at the heart of the action. You’ll dedicate a few hours of your time to complete your tasks, but we’re also counting on you to bring the energy in front of the stages between your shifts! What matters most is your motivation and your smile. Volunteers are essential to the success of the festival—without them, there would be no event!
We pay special attention to our volunteers, ensuring they have a great experience and meaningful roles. We guarantee you’ll have an unforgettable time with the whole team!
Getting involved with Francofolies Esch/Alzette means contributing to causes like environmental sustainability and the promotion of Francophone music while creating an unforgettable experience for festivalgoers!
Volunteer Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to register (with a signed parental authorization)
- Must be committed, proactive, and motivated.
Good to know :
- Volunteering for a shift grants you access to the festival on the day of your mission.
- • Volunteers signing up for 3 days are given priority.
Available roles
Are you passionate about environmental protection? Join our eco-friendly crew as they roam the festival, raise awareness, and manage the festival’s green initiatives.
Can you scan faster than your shadow? Welcome and direct our festival-goers at the entrances, and give them their precious wristbands! You’ll also be in charge of selling the last tickets and registering prohibited items.
Are you friendly, dynamic, and outgoing? Help guide festivalgoers at the train station, assist them at information points, or manage parking areas. You may also be in charge of the photo booth or lead an activity!
Want to make the festival accessible for all? Do you know sign language? Join the team ensuring an inclusive experience for festivalgoers with disabilities, from parking areas to dedicated viewing platforms—and even at the bar!
Good with numbers, or not so much? No worries—cashless payments make it easy! Help recharge festivalgoers’ wristbands or sell festival merchandise
You’ll meet hundreds of volunteers, technicians, and team members behind the scenes. Your job? Make sure they’re well-fed and have everything they need! From welcoming staff to helping in the kitchen and washing dishes, be part of the catering team to keep the crew going strong!
Can you pour the perfect beer and change a barrel? Want to set a record for the most drinks served? The bars (and festivalgoers) are waiting for you!
Zero expertise, 100% energy? Join the all-purpose volunteer team and tackle unexpected tasks! You’ll handle replacements, provide extra support, and take on surprise missions throughout the weekend.
Prefer working behind the scenes? Help manage artist dressing rooms, shuttles, volunteer check-ins, and team coordination.
Want to be part of the festival experience from start to finish? Help us set up and dismantle the festival with our technical teams—an essential backstage role!

good to know :
During registration, you can choose your preferred role and list two concerts you don’t want to miss. You can also sign up with a team! We’ll do our best to accommodate all preferences.
Registration stays open until all volunteer spots are filled. If spots run out, you can still join the waiting list in case of cancellations or new tasks.
Associations (cultural, charitable, or sports-related) can also help at the festival! We offer an inter-association solidarity system, donating funds to organizations based on their level of involvement. Want your association to take part in Francofolies Esch/Alzette?
